Job Overview:

The Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) position at Corecare Systems Inc. requires a skilled and compassionate nurse practitioner to work collaboratively with our medical team. As an APRN, you will be responsible for conducting thorough medical and psychiatric assessments, developing individualized plans of care, and providing education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical and psychiatric assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including laboratory testing and pharmacological therapy
  • Provide education to patients and their families on addiction and mental health issues
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Nursing required
  • Graduate of an accredited Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner Program
  • License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
  • Certification through ANA is preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of chemical dependencies experience required
