Job Title: Customer Service Intake Representative

Home Care Delivered (HCD) is a leading specialty medical supply distributor that partners with healthcare professionals to provide medical products to patients in their homes across the U.S.

We have contracts with hundreds of insurance companies, including Medicare, state Medicaid plans, and commercial insurance plans throughout the U.S.

Our product portfolio includes a wide range of name-brand medical supplies across multiple chronic care categories, including Incontinence, Diabetes, Ostomy, Urological, Wound Care, Equipment, and Oral Nutritional Supplements.

As a Customer Service Intake Representative, you will play a critical role in managing and following up on new customer orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately perform each step in the process from order to ship, including initial engagement and customer intake, data entry, insurance verification, prior authorization, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with established regulatory requirements and department and Company standards and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and customers to provide updates on patient order status, building professional relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to solutions to enhance workflow efficiency and enhance the customer's experience.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of communication and confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Call Center experience in a customer service role
  • Medical experience is helpful, such as medical office or CNA
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Preference given to bilingual candidates
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours a day, while working at a computer station
  • Manual dexterity to use a keyboard, mouse, and other computer peripherals
  • Visual acuity to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and accurately enter data
  • Adequate hearing ability to understand and respond to customer inquiries
Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an hourly wage ranging from $19 to $23.
