Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Derby City Gaming, LLC. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Room Assignment
  • Verify guest identification and establish payment methods
  • Issue room keys and provide instructions to bellhops
  • Manage room availability and guest accounts on our Property Management System
  • Compute bills and collect payments in a timely manner
  • Make and confirm reservations
  • Answer PBX calls and route calls to the correct extensions
  • Provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as balancing cash accounts
  • Record guest feedback and concerns, escalating issues to supervisors as needed
Working Conditions

The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of noise and exposure to second-hand smoke and fumes.
