Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Studio Guide to join our team at Glowbar Inc. in Roslyn. As a Lead Studio Guide, you will be responsible for creating a safe space for clients to navigate through our modern experience, guiding clients through check-in and retail check-out, and providing a friendly, compassionate environment, ensuring that each client receives an extraordinary, memorable experience as they navigate through the space and our retail assortment.

You will also be responsible for providing clients with product knowledge and at-home routine suggestions, emailing/texting clients to assist in appointment booking/rebooking, follow up, and offering to answer any last-minute questions. Additionally, you will provide feedback to management on progress and challenges, paired with suggestions, collaborate with estheticians on opportunities to improve the experience to better support and inform clients, and assist Management in daily studio tasks and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Create a safe space for clients to navigate through our modern experience
  • Guide clients through check-in and retail check-out
  • Provide a friendly, compassionate environment, ensuring that each client receives an extraordinary, memorable experience as they navigate through the space and our retail assortment
  • Provide clients with product knowledge and at-home routine suggestions
  • Email/text clients to assist in appointment booking/rebooking, follow up, and offering to answer any last-minute questions
  • Provide feedback to management on progress and challenges, paired with suggestions
  • Collaborate with estheticians on opportunities to improve the experience to better support and inform clients
  • Assist Management in daily studio tasks and projects
Requirements
  • 1+ years of hospitality experience (i.e. restaurant, retail, hotel, salon/spa, etc.) with a proven track record of superior customer service
  • Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule - must have weekend, holiday, and some early morning/midday/late evening weekday availability
  • Must have Sunday and Monday availability
  • Must love hospitality and interacting with customers
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a forward-thinking problem solver with a strong work ethic who has compassion for employees and clients
