Position Overview:

The Data Insights Specialist will oversee the integrity of our financial data systems, ensuring accurate data flow into our financial reporting structures.

The ideal candidate will excel in transforming unstructured data into meaningful insights, demonstrating a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and analyzing financial data from various sources while maintaining database integrity.
  • Collaborating with management to align data-driven priorities with business objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization within the financial landscape.
  • Working closely with technology teams to implement identified enhancements.
  • Creating data visualizations and dashboards to facilitate informed decision-making across departments.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to define data requirements for tailored analysis projects.
  • Exhibiting analytical skills to compile, structure, and present large data sets accurately.
  • Evaluating data critically to extract actionable insights.
  • Communicating complex data findings in a clear and concise manner for non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a finance or accounting context.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Python, PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • A solid understanding of finance, accounting, and business operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $105,000-$140,000. In addition to comprehensive health benefits, ING offers a generous 401k savings plan, competitive PTO, and a wide array of additional benefits including support for adoption, surrogacy, and fertility services, student debt assistance, and subsidies for remote work, commuting, and fitness expenses.
