Montai Health is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to oversee our Compound Management function. This individual will help manage and grow Montai's small molecule compound library and inventory management systems in support of our screening campaigns and lead optimization projects.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain strong business and operational relationships with compound management and chemical sourcing vendors to ensure competitive service levels and pricing.
- Drive implementation of industry best practices for library storage, reformatting, cherry picking, transport, and quality control.
- Ensure that compounds are maintained at appropriate stock levels according to program needs.
- Work closely with drug discovery teams to ensure that compounds efficiently get into assays to drive overall speed in our assay cascades.
- Work closely with data teams to ensure we have robust analytics on our library.
- Coordinate with synthesis and commercial partners to manage procurement and registration of compounds.
- BA/BS or MA/MS in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial Pharmaceutical/Biotech setting supporting HTS and management of small molecule chemical collections.
- Fluent in industry standards and best practices for compound management technologies and methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to independently drive successful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Diligent organization skills to manage many simultaneous work streams and keep diverse projects on track.
- Ability to report status and timeline on key deliverables to senior leadership regularly.
