The Inside Sales Executive role is a key position within our CarGurus team, responsible for driving sales growth and dealer engagement in the automotive wholesale market. As a Sales Activation Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our dealer network, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly sales targets by activating new dealers and reactivating previously churned dealers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales Development Representatives and Sales Leadership.
  • Conduct sales meetings and demos with prospective dealers, effectively communicating the value of our digital wholesale marketplace.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to provide tailored solutions that address client pain points and drive value.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement sales strategies that maximize dealer lifetime value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of inside/outside sales experience, with a strong track record of success.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working in a CRM (preferably HubSpot).
