Business Development Leader

About the RoleThe General Manager will lead our FBO operation, driving business growth and profitability while maintaining our high standards of customer service.
- Overall responsibility for the financial performance of the FBO, including profit and loss management
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to functional reports
- Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives to drive business results
- Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue and market share
- Ensure that all department managers have the necessary resources to achieve their goals
- Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture within the team
- Review and negotiate contracts to optimize business outcomes
- Prepare and manage the FBO budget to align with company objectives
- Establish controls and procedures to ensure business success
- Recruit and onboard top talent to support business growth
This role reports to the Executive Vice President of FBO Operations and operates in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
This is an exempt position that may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel is expected for industry events, sales opportunities, and new location openings.
- Degree in Business Administration or related field, with a proven track record of business development and control management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Aviation FBO management, with full P&L responsibility
- Minimum 10 years of business experience, with a strong background in leadership and team management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Acceptable driving record and ability to pass a background check
