Human Resources Coordinator

About the Role:
The Human Resources Administrator is a dynamic and organized professional who will provide proactive support to the Human Resources Senior leaders at MKS Instruments. This role offers the opportunity to work with team members across various functions of the HR department, enabling the successful candidate to develop a comprehensive understanding of HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Human Resources senior leaders, internal customers, and employees, providing exceptional communication and coordination skills.
- Support the Headquarters HR team in pre-hire coordination, new hire orientation, and onboarding processes.
- Assist with invoice processing, budget tracking, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with Human Resources senior leaders on projects, including data research, analysis, and presentation materials.
- Partner with the HR and Communications department on various initiatives, such as updating HR Sharepoint content and writing articles for the intranet news.
- Manage Human Resources senior leaders' calendars and expense reports.
- Coordinate site activities, events, meetings, and other gatherings.
- Provide travel and accommodation arrangements support.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- General administrative experience and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to project needs, and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong time management and coordination skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with Excel and/or PowerPoint is a plus.
Working Arrangements:
- This role may involve a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of remote and on-site work.
- The successful candidate must be based within commuting distance to MKS Corporate HQ in Andover, MA.
