Position Summary

The Grow (Learning & Development) Specialist is responsible for supporting learning, development, culture, engagement, and talent programs for employees at all levels and entities in the North America (NAM) Region. The focus of this role is on implementing creative and engaging development solutions that drive business outcomes and provide value to employees, teams, and the organization. Areas of responsibility include coordination, administration, assessment, design, delivery, and management of programs such as leadership and manager development, career and skill development, culture, and onboarding. This individual will be a member of the Grow (Learning & Development) Team within the Human Resources Department and will participate in the Global Grow Community of Practice.

Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Program Management: Manage various learning and development programs from end-to-end including planning, coordination, communication, marketing, content management, delivery, follow-up and evaluation.
  • Learning Program Development: Design and develop innovative learning programs, including workshops, seminars, online courses, and other learning interventions to address the developmental needs of employees across different departments and levels. Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development.
  • Content Creation: Create high-quality learning materials, including presentations, supporting resources, eLearning modules, and multimedia content to support learning initiatives and ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually, utilizing various instructional techniques and multimedia resources to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Learning Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through ongoing assessment, feedback analysis, and performance metrics tracking. Continuously refine programs based on insights gathered.
  • Learning Technology Management: Utilize various learning technologies and platforms ensuring optimal utilization and functionality to support learning delivery and tracking. Be a Power User of the Learning Management System (LMS) and utilize it for various applications including content uploading, user management, and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with HR business partners, department heads, and other key stakeholders to understand business priorities and learning needs and ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organizational goals through a consultative approach.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and performance improvement opportunities within the organization, leveraging feedback mechanisms, performance data, and stakeholder input.
  • Domestic and International travel up to 15%

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a learning and development, training or teaching role
  • 3+ years of experience in learning content design, curriculum development, presentation and facilitation for in-person, virtual and eLearning mediums
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating and administrating training-style events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning technology trends
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms with a demonstrated digital savviness and a proactive approach towards adopting new technologies.
  • Experience with Absorb, Articulate 360, Adobe Connect or Glint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
  • Forward thinking with a proactive and creative approach; thinking outside the box to create opportunities and innovative solutions
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and agile with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Holds a curious mindset with the ability and desire to learn new skills and embrace change
  • Creates a welcoming environment for all, celebrates differences and encourages others
  • Relevant certifications
