We are in search of a Coordinator for our Adult Residential Programs to take on a pivotal role within our organization.
Sign-On Bonus: $8,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical and administrative functions of the residential facility.
- Ensure compliance with DDS regulatory staffing requirements.
- Manage physical environment concerns and delegate responsibilities to each shift of Residential Adult ABA Counselors for habilitative services and activities.
- Supervise a team of up to 15 staff members. Our services cater to adults with autism spectrum disorders, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, and severe mental health challenges.
Qualifications:
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Services, or Psychology is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Certifications: Registered Behavior Technician or Board Certification at the Bachelor's level (BCaBA) is preferred. A valid US driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years are required.
- Must be capable of achieving approved Melmark driver status and pass Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background checks. Successful completion of employer-provided certifications in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and Melmark's Orientation Program and New Hire Onsite training is necessary.
- Strong reading, writing, and oral communication skills are essential. Candidates should possess effective teaching abilities, particularly with individuals who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically, or developmentally challenged.
- Experience or interest in Applied Behavior Analysis principles and Autism Spectrum Disorders is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills are mandatory.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with related populations is preferred. Advanced management and clinical service skills are essential for this position.
