Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at Perfect Fit Home Care. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in daily activities and promoting social interaction.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist clients with medication management.
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and grocery shopping, ensuring they have access to nutritious food and essential supplies.
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments and errands, ensuring their safe and timely arrival.
  • Document client activities and note changes in physical or mental status, assisting medical staff and family members in assessing care plans.
  • Assist clients with memory impairments, redirecting them as needed and promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months of home health aide or certified nurse aide experience, preferably supporting older adults.
  • Current State of Oklahoma Home Health Aide certification.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively address critical health and end-of-life issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with moderate amounts of physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions

This position is performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled setting within a client's apartment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail.
