About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer to join our team at ECS Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing key client projects and leading project execution, providing technical oversight, ensuring quality control, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of geotechnical engineering projects, from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and engineering calculations, providing accurate and reliable results.
  • Supervise field exploration programs and interpret geotechnical data from boring layouts, utility clearances, and laboratory tests.
  • Perform technical review of engineering designs, drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers and project managers, promoting professional development and growth.
  • Assist with business development efforts through community involvement and client engagement, helping to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Promote company values, positive culture, and high employee engagement, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of geotechnical principles.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
  • Experience with industry standards and safety regulations, with a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering practices.
  • Business development experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.
  • BS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar, with a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
