Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of geotechnical engineering projects, from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and engineering calculations, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
  • Supervise field exploration programs, interpret geotechnical data from boring layouts, utility clearances, and laboratory tests, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform technical review of engineering designs, drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Assist with business development efforts through community involvement and client engagement, promoting ECS Ltd's services and expertise.
  • Promote company values, positive culture, and high employee engagement, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of geotechnical principles.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
  • Experience with industry standards and safety regulations, with a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Business development experience, with a proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Required Education: BS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar. Preferred Education: MS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
