Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Technician to join our team at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support to medical professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Support: Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including vital sign collection, medical documentation, and basic patient care services.
  • Coordinate Clinical Flow: Work with the clinical care team to plan, organize, and allocate resources to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Maintain Patient Records: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge of healthcare practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and patients.
Working Conditions
