Clinical Applications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Applications Specialist to provide technical support for our operating room systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and maintaining system additions and modifications
  • Monitoring error reports and resolving or coordinating resolution of malfunctions
  • Monitoring and maintaining systems security and providing training to users
  • Assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of projects and serving as project manager for department significant projects and upgrades
  • Providing technical support in data gathering and analysis, collecting and retrieving data, and tabulating quantitative statistics from system databases
  • Arranging for service of system hardware and other devices as required
  • Acting as a resource to support staff and managers in resolving application issues
  • Preparing documentation on system applications

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in computer science or a closely related field
  • 1 year of experience
  • Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth, experienced-based cross-functional knowledge
  • Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well-developed writing skills
