Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Begert Stainless, Inc. (BSI). As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and implementing your own initiatives to meet and exceed sales goals.
This is a commission-based role that offers the opportunity to work independently and leverage your skills and drive to succeed. If you are a sales professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales and revenue expectations.
- Initiate contact and follow up with potential customers to present our new products and services.
- Deliver sales presentations about products and services to new and existing customers, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures.
- Secure new deals and target buyers quickly, give them the information they need to envision our brand and close deals efficiently.
- Qualify prospective customers quickly by fact-finding to identify decision-makers, pain points, competition, budget, timeline, and other potential obstacles.
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints as needed.
- Report customer complaints to Quality and Operations for investigation and resolution.
- Communicate with management as needed to complete orders.
- Confirm that all orders are successfully filled, and any issues promptly reported.
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
- Provide support in the event of a product issue.
- Remain current on projected production volume and strive to meet and exceed company sales goals.
- Remain current on current industry trends and suggest potential areas of opportunity for management.
- Develop a personal network to assist the firm in achieving practice development and marketing goals by identifying business opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Conduct pertinent phone calls to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers; possess a thorough knowledge of them their businesses.
- Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met.
- Attend in-person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales events as requested.
- Help company stay on top of all developments related to new business opportunities, sales activities, and customer needs through our CRM.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required, and some industry or product knowledge.
- Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills.
- Deadlines and details motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team alike.
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales.
- Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales experience.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Knows customer markets and the issues/challenges they face and can translate that information into useful selling strategies.
- Strong math skills. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret financial information.
