The GeorgiaGov is dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services to state government entities and officials. The Medicaid Fraud Investigator role within the Investigations section of the Medicaid Fraud Division encompasses:
- Executing investigations related to healthcare fraud
- Collaborating with criminal justice personnel during on-site inquiries
- Gathering and preparing evidence for legal proceedings
- Employing technology for comprehensive data analysis
- Providing testimony in judicial settings
- Fostering professional knowledge and partnerships with various agencies
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience in fraud investigation or a related field
Desirable Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- POST-Certification
- A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or Business
- Certification as a Fraud Examiner
- Experience in law enforcement
- Proven analytical capabilities
- Familiarity with social media and digital evidence-based investigations
