Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and CT procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate CT scan equipment, positioning patients to capture accurate images.
- Administer contrast materials, as required, and ensure patient safety throughout the examination process.
- Collaborate with medical staff to clarify scanning instructions and ensure accurate image interpretation.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and follow-up procedures.
- Technical Diploma in Radiology or Imaging Services from an AMA-approved school.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- ARRT Advanced Certification in CT, required within one year of hire or transfer.
- New York State Department of Health IV Contrast Injection Certification, required within one year of hire or transfer.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
