CAT Scan Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled CAT Scan Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT scans and other radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Utilize computerized tomography scanners to capture cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed.
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment, positioning patients to capture the appropriate images.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Technical Diploma in Radiology or Imaging Services from an AMA-approved school.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Advanced Certification in CT required within one year of hire or transfer.
- New York State Department of Health IV Contrast Injection Certification (Part 89-Section) required within one year of hire or transfer.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
