Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Coder II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately assigning ICD and CPT coding of diagnoses and procedures for outpatient medical records in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign accurate ICD and CPT codes for outpatient medical records
  • Perform abstracting to determine accuracy and completeness of the outpatient record
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in a science field preferred with completion of an accredited program through AHIMA or AAPC
  • Licenses/Certifications: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCA, CPC, CPC-H, or CIRCC credential required
  • Two years of multi-specialty, preferably surgical coding experience, with CPT/ICD and CM/HCPCS/modifier coding for physician professional charges and a minimum of two years of experience in an acute care facility as a Clinical Coder I required
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as paid parental leave, flexible work policy, student loan assistance, training and education, along with well-being resources for you and your family.
