Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
The IT Procurement Manager will spearhead the sourcing strategy and execution for IT and Telecom projects, overseeing contract negotiations, drafting, and management aligned with category strategies. This role includes conducting detailed pricing analyses and establishing service level agreements to ensure supplier accountability.
In this position, you will provide leadership across the organization, collaborating with regional business and IT leaders to identify, assess, implement, and evaluate new initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Daily Tasks Include:
- Developing and executing the sourcing strategy for the North American IT and Telecom category, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of relevant supply markets and identifying potential new suppliers.
- Creating and implementing regional sourcing strategies that leverage advanced sourcing practices while anticipating market trends.
- Managing regional sourcing initiatives from demand analysis through to contract execution, including leading supplier negotiations.
- Supporting both country-specific and global sourcing initiatives, ensuring effective contract management and follow-up on major projects.
- Conducting regular benchmarking and performance evaluations of strategic suppliers, establishing improvement plans as necessary.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners at local, regional, and global levels.
- Engaging with IT/Telecom and business unit executives to represent the Global Sourcing organization and its strategies.
- Promoting corporate standardization and providing ongoing support to stakeholders.
- Facilitating compliance management through supplier contract promotion and participation in self-assessments.
- Leading and managing category teams, including resource alignment and operational leadership.
- Developing expertise and training within the virtual category team.
- Utilizing project management and performance improvement methodologies to drive initiatives and enhance employee satisfaction.
