Become a part of Gopuff as a General Ledger Accountant, where your contributions will be vital in upholding the financial operations that drive the company forward. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance team, reporting directly to the Senior GL Accountant and engaging with multiple departments to ensure seamless financial processes.
- Support the Senior GL Accountant in executing daily, weekly, and monthly accounting responsibilities.
- Engage in the month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare journal entries along with the necessary supporting documentation.
- Oversee cash management and accurately account for all financial transactions.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of prepaid expenses and accrual accounting principles.
- Assist with fixed asset management and fulfill ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Collaborate on special initiatives and provide support during external audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial analysis techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Compensation Package:
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000.
