Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Conduct thorough admission assessments, utilizing effective communication skills to gather patient history and provide education.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including electronic medical records and paper forms.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care transitions and resolving conflicts in a professional manner.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
- Experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on peri-anesthesia care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Intermediate computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association for North Naples Campus.
