**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Nurse is responsible for providing individualized care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans, promoting optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans
- Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Washington Registered Nurse License - if practicing within this state
- 1 year Nursing experience
