The Sales Operations Lead will be responsible for leading the execution of sales operational support initiatives and projects, and managing the Sales Teams processes within the divisions of SC Fuels.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing relationships with new customers to achieve assigned sales goals and targets for both volume and GM
  • Driving the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Prospecting for potential customers via calls, in-person or emails, using various direct methods such as networking and utilizing lead generation tools
  • Consulting with prospect regarding business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each
  • Working with internal technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
  • Achieving monthly sales quota and KPIs
  • Maintaining relevant data on prospects and customers in Customer Relations Management system which must be updated daily
  • Providing forecasts on sales volumes that will close in 90 days
  • Working with Operations staff to address potential problems and ensure a great experience at the first delivery


Requirements include:

  • Highly motivated individual with 5-7 years demonstrated success in consultative/solution based selling in a B2B environment within a relevant industry
  • Experience selling at the senior management level with a proven track record of routinely closing deals
  • A college degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated success in sales
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry sales, and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to travel within assigned region using own transportation
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM, Email Campaigns, and Graphic Design
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency with content writing
  • Ability to analyze data and present solutions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Travel required less than 5%
  • General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
