Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages and population groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with nursing and medical staff to ensure accurate medication orders and patient histories.
  • Validate patient medication profiles and identify medication variances and adverse drug reactions.
  • Conduct drug regimen reviews and respond to specific polypharmacy, pharmacokinetic, and medication/MAR reconciliation consults.
  • Recommend and monitor drug therapy as assigned by the medical staff.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacy hospital experience preferred.
  • Current Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy or licensed pharmacist in another state with Authorization to Test (ATT) from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
