Mainframe Network Systems Programmer

Ensono is seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Network Systems Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, installing, testing, administering, maintaining, updating, and implementing mainframe network-related software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, install, configure, test, administer, maintain, update, implement, track changes, and provide corrective maintenance to mainframe network-related software.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and document mainframe network-related problems.
  • Adhere to ITIL, Change, and Problem Management processes.
  • Effectively communicate with software suppliers, peers, clients, and leadership.
  • Maintain current software and products by ensuring system availability and performance in accordance with service agreements.
  • Monitor and report on system/product performance, reliability, and consistency.
  • Increase efficiency through automation and/or template utilization as appropriate.
  • Review and seek out cost reductions, efficiency improvements, and better methods to support applicable technology environments.
  • Keep informed of latest industry trends, products, services, and relevant existing and emerging technologies.
  • Train and communicate with associates and clients for new upgrades and products.
  • Assist client applications with problem determination and problem solving.
Requirements:
  • 5 to 10 years of mainframe networking experience is preferred, with overall mainframe systems experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance tasks, issues, and concerns with self, team, and clients.
  • Experience developing, leading, and managing system programming projects.
