Job Overview

Enterprise Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to provide project coordination and follow-up for electrical projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

This role is responsible for assisting the project management team with weekly labor projections, commitments, and scheduling, as well as assembling, publishing, and submitting required project data and tracking the approval process.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of construction or electrical hands-on experience in a technical or project management support capacity, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting project management with weekly labor projections, commitments, and scheduling
  • Assembling, publishing, and submitting required project data and tracking the approval process
  • Distributing approved product data to vendors and assisting project managers in required releases
  • Uploading, editing, and distributing project data and shop drawings between customer ERPs and organizational processes software
  • Assembling, drafting, and actively updating required logs via software vehicle relating to RFI's, Submittals, and coordination
  • Assisting in change order pricing and proposal development
  • Performing regular schedule updates and providing explanations of schedule
  • Collaborating with the project team and other supporting departments to define and manage deliverables
  • Project schedule management and documentation
  • Quality compliance, issue tracking and escalation, updates to customers, vendor and sub partnership, coordination and management independently and with urgency
  • Supporting project managers and the leadership team with key day-to-day project coordination activities
  • Distributing all short interval and overall project schedules
  • Ensuring subcontractors have the most up-to-date scope of work
  • Ability to review drawings and specifications to become completely familiar with the project and identify long lead times and critical path items
  • Developing a project submittal log and obtaining designer's approval
  • Managing said submittal log and ensuring all submittals are processed promptly
  • Attending weekly project meetings as requested by project managers and keeping detailed meeting minutes for publishing to the project team

Requirements and skills include:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • High energy, self-starter
  • Strong coordination skills and self-discipline
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution
  • Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools
  • Experience with computer operating systems
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively

Qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of construction or electrical hands-on experience in a technical or project management support capacity
  • Experience in Computer Aided Drawing (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus
  • Experience in Project Management Tools (i.e. ProCore, Project Sight) is a plus
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Project Schedule Management or scheduling tools
  • Associates Degree preferred, but not required
  • Electrical/Mechanical/Construction vocational school or degree a plus
