The ideal candidate will have experience working with Avaya Communication Manager (CM) version 8 or higher, strong knowledge of Avaya System Manager, and experience with Avaya voicemail (Aura Messaging).

Key responsibilities include handling daily trouble tickets and requests, interfacing with customers and department managers, and coordinating with other Information Services teams.

The Telecom Services Coordinator will also be responsible for setting up new extensions, voicemail, and softphones, as well as validating billing and working with cabling vendors and service providers.

Additionally, the candidate will review floor plans and telecom requirements, troubleshoot quality issues, and set up call centers, phone trees, and recording software.

Reporting tools, logging, and statistics will also be a key part of this role.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Avaya Communication Manager (CM) version 8 or higher
  • Strong knowledge of Avaya System Manager
  • Experience with Avaya voicemail (Aura Messaging)
  • Experience with Avaya IP Telephony
  • Develops and assists with customer needs for communications services
  • Experience with Avaya Call Recording applications
  • Experience working with AT&T to establish new circuits and verify billing
  • Knowledge of wiring and cabling terminology
