Radar and Receiver Exciter Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex radar systems. As a Radar and Receiver Exciter Engineer, you will work on the architecture development, integration, and analysis of receiver and exciters of complex radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop radar receiver and exciter systems, including RF chain and link budget analysis
  • Develop and implement digital signal processing algorithms and FPGA implementation
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve complex technical problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test radar systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years' of prior work experience
  • Experience with radar receiver and exciter system and subsystem analysis, design, and/or test
  • Experience with RF chain design and analysis, and digital signal processing techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • U.S. government issued security clearance is required
