Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and operations strategies to ensure optimal use of university facilities.
  • Supervise a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address facility-related issues, ensuring seamless integration with university operations.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with university goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in large facility maintenance management, with a minimum of 5 years at a senior level.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management, with experience in budget development and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters' degree in a related field.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and building automation systems.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement processes and techniques.
