Donor Relations Associate and Annual Fund Manager

Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is seeking a highly skilled Donor Relations Associate and Annual Fund Manager to join our team at the NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with major gift donors, creating effective stewardship plans, and driving revenue growth through membership and annual giving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic plans for managing major gift donors, ensuring timely and personalized communication and recognition.
- Collaborate with leadership to create and implement effective stewardship plans, monitoring progress toward annual goals and making adjustments as needed.
- Design and implement key strategies to grow the membership base and revenue, focusing on high retention and upgrades among renewing members.
- Manage the collection, recording, and maintenance of donor-related data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate gift acknowledgment, general correspondence, database maintenance, and reporting, ensuring seamless communication with donors and stakeholders.
- Implement donor acknowledgment efforts, including recognition programs and website updates, to foster a sense of community and appreciation among donors.
- Assist in developing and implementing membership drives, leveraging various channels to engage and retain members.
- Ensure accuracy of member information and collaborate with administrative staff for timely reporting, maintaining a high level of data integrity.
- Work closely with the Museum Finance department to report gifts accurately and manage the department budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Refine and maintain tracking systems for membership activity data analysis, providing valuable insights for future development initiatives.
- Manage revisions of member benefits and assist with volunteer programs, enhancing the overall member experience.
- Assist in drafting the fiscal year membership gift budget and managing related travel arrangements, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards in fundraising activities, upholding the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
- High school diploma and nine (9) years of successful direct experience in museum and membership or donor program management or the equivalent.
- Associate's degree and seven (7) years of successful direct experience in museum and membership or donor program management or the equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of successful direct experience in museum and membership or donor program management or the equivalent.
- Supervisory experience with volunteers or clerical personnel is a plus.
