Job Title: Territory Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

The following are essential duties for the role of Territory Sales Consultant:

Engage with clients to provide support and advice on vendor offerings while delivering sales and assistance in designated retail locations. Travel to client sites, ensuring the maintenance of vendor product displays and providing service. Address customer inquiries promptly, offering detailed responses to their questions. Share information about new products and gather customer feedback regarding vendor offerings. Educate clients on product knowledge by demonstrating equipment and providing training on product applications. Resolve customer issues and discrepancies between customers and vendors efficiently. Promote sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives by familiarizing accounts with the latest sales strategies. Assist in processing special orders as needed. Organize products on shelving units according to established plans. Oversee and adjust inventory levels as necessary. Submit weekly reports detailing hours worked, locations visited, and sales impact. Adhere to all AMS and customer policies and procedures. Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays. Flexibility to work varied hours and days as required by business needs, including weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, presentation, writing, and technical skills. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance (must meet company standards). Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both clients and vendors. High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting as necessary. Frequent standing, bending, and twisting are required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in vendor sales is preferred. At least 1 year of experience in field sales or customer service is preferred. Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
