Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the New Home Consultant is to manage and facilitate the new home purchasing process and the closing of escrow, with the ultimate aim of ensuring customer satisfaction. In this role, you will engage in selling, processing, and closing home transactions in alignment with company objectives, adhering to our sales philosophy while serving homebuyers and real estate professionals. This includes guiding clients through Welcome Home Centers, undecorated models, and available homesites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients from initial contact through to post-closing.
  • Travel within the local area to generate sales through realtor partnerships, referrals, and self-initiated outreach.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape, including product offerings, site specifics, local community insights, sales strategies, advertising, and demographics.
  • Track and document daily customer interactions using company-designated tools.
  • Participate in homeowner orientations as required and assist clients with their builder option selections.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required (some college experience preferred)
  • Minimum of two years of recent experience in face-to-face sales and customer service
  • Experience in new home sales or commission-based real estate is advantageous
  • Valid driver's license and insurance with a clean driving record
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Ability to prepare written documentation and perform contract calculations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with modern technology, including iPads
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
