About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Imaging Quality Navigator to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest levels of quality and patient care in breast imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Perform regular quality control testing and ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, and Mass State mammography regulations.
  • Patient Care and Navigation: Work directly with patients to explain and schedule recommended breast imaging exams and procedures, ensuring a high level of customer service and empathy.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Generate audit reports and oversee outcomes lists, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient data and procedure details.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Breast Imaging network administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Professional Development: Maintain current certifications and licenses, including ARRT in Radiology and Mammography, and Mass DPH license in Radiology and Mammography.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology with current ARRT certification and Mass DPH license in Radiology and Mammography.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or extensive Breast Imaging experience demonstrating progressive levels of responsibility.
  • ARRT in Radiology and Mammography and Mass DPH license in Radiology and Mammography.
  • Breast Care Navigator Certification required within 1 year of employment.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years experience in the field of radiology with an in-depth knowledge of mammography and breast care.
