Job Overview:

The Eligibility & Benefits division is in search of a motivated, decisive, and collaborative Product Manager with a strong background in healthcare eligibility and benefits to become a part of the Product Management team.

In this position, you will leverage your expertise in working with eligibility payers and your understanding of the eligibility landscape, which includes eligibility verification, 270/271 transactions, co-pays, cost estimates, prior authorizations, and more. You will be responsible for creating and integrating eligibility APIs/SDKs, including connections with clearinghouses and direct payer systems. Additionally, you will manage the complete product lifecycle, driving innovation and strategy, defining comprehensive requirements, and staying informed about market trends and competitor activities while collaborating with other product teams and engineers on product launch initiatives.

As a Product Manager for Eligibility & Benefits, you will work alongside cross-functional teams, including Clinical Engagement, Sales, Engineering, UX, Marketing, and other Product teams, to deliver cutting-edge products, enhance adoption rates, and maximize utilization.

This role is perfect for individuals who excel under pressure and thrive in a dynamic environment, building strong partnerships through effective communication and demonstrating a genuine passion for healthcare. You will utilize your exceptional problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and adeptness at multitasking to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the vision and roadmap for a product within the portfolio aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop business cases for new features and enhancements by collaborating with product leadership, marketing, sales, and operations teams.
  • Create detailed product requirements and translate them into user stories for engineering implementation.
  • Lead product go-to-market strategies and execute successful launch plans with support from product leadership, market development, client success, and marketing teams.
  • Manage escalations, investigate issues, and prioritize resolutions; establish definitions and strategies to achieve specific product outcomes.
  • Understand market challenges and needs while being a product advocate within the organization and for clients.
  • Analyze product data and monitor usage metrics or other KPIs.
  • Provide product support and training to sales and operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment using Agile methodologies, or at least 4 years of experience at Phreesia demonstrating product expertise.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing strong leadership.
  • Experience leading product initiatives across various cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for improving healthcare access and user experience, with a keen interest in product creation and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
