Lead the Manufacturing Process for Space-Grade Systems

As a key member of our team at EVONA, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process for space-grade systems. This includes managing the end-to-end lifecycle, from initial prototyping to full-scale production, ensuring all systems are built to spec.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the manufacturing lifecycle, including prototyping, production, and quality control.
  • Oversee assembly processes, optimizing production workflows, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
  • Perform design for manufacturability (DFM) assessments, collaborating with engineering teams to streamline production.
  • Implement continuous process improvements using Six Sigma and Lean principles to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct environmental and functional testing, ensuring systems meet rigorous space-grade standards.
  • Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards, including IPC-A-610 Class 2 and J-STD-001.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, ideally in aerospace, satellites, or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Strong understanding of space hardware testing protocols, including environmental stress testing.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and data analysis tools for optimizing production.

US Citizenship is required due to ITAR regulations.
