Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement advanced algorithms for analyzing raw sensor data, focusing on defect identification and accurate localization in high-resolution images or 3D data.
  • Engineer software solutions for real-time application on production lines, ensuring swift execution of algorithms with response times under 20 milliseconds.
  • Establish metrics and tools to evaluate model performance, enhancing the transparency and understanding of our systems.
  • Investigate innovative technologies such as Stable Diffusion and SAM to transform the industry, developing applications for essential operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. A solid grounding in applied mathematics is essential.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on creating machine learning models for computer vision in operational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch or TensorFlow, along with exceptional Python programming skills for developing efficient solutions within large codebases.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, capable of articulating experimental decisions and balancing exploration with exploitation.
  • Demonstrated resilience in complex and challenging situations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Practical experience with image generation techniques using diffusion models and other generative methodologies.
  • A proven history of optimizing model inference processes.
  • Familiarity with computer vision techniques beyond traditional machine learning approaches.
