About the Role

The Electrical Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of electrical manufacturing processes and procedures for company products. This role will focus on ensuring compliance with established goals, objectives, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with R&D to release new products, conduct DFx analysis, and ensure manufacturability, testability, and serviceability.
  • Design and modify electrical assemblies, layouts, and schematics, as well as detailed drawings and specifications for electrical cabinets.
  • Select electrical components, design cable and harness routing, and develop assembly and test procedures.
  • Create efficient manufacturing assembly lines, specifying and refining BOMs, workflow processes, and detailed work instructions.
  • Provide product training and support to production and field personnel.
  • Review, control, and maintain product documents, including specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Manage supplier corrective actions to eliminate material non-conformances and ensure compliance with medical device quality system requirements.
  • Analyze and perform failure analysis for discrepant production components, assemblies, and field returns.
  • Lead/participate in initiatives focused on material cost reduction, capacity enhancement, outsourcing of assemblies, and supplier qualification.
Qualification Requirements:
  • 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience with a focus on electrical.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Altium PCB Design Software.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document activities and present technical information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and follow through to completion.
  • Logical and systematic approach to solving problems through analysis and evaluation of alternate solutions.
