Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and design sophisticated algorithms to interpret raw sensor data for defect identification and accurate localization in high-resolution images or 3D data.
  • Engineer software solutions for real-time application on production lines, ensuring algorithms execute with rapid response times of less than 20 milliseconds per decision.
  • Establish metrics and tools to evaluate model performance, fostering transparency and understanding of our AI systems.
  • Investigate and implement state-of-the-art technologies such as Stable Diffusion and SAM to transform the industry, developing applications for essential operations.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline; relevant practical experience is also valued. A solid grounding in applied mathematics is essential.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on creating machine learning models for computer vision in industrial settings.
  • Strong understanding of Deep Learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch or TensorFlow, alongside excellent Python programming skills for developing efficient solutions within large codebases.
  • Outstanding communication and decision-making skills, capable of articulating experimental decisions and balancing innovative exploration with practical implementation.
  • Ability to thrive in complex and challenging environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Practical experience with image generation techniques using diffusion models and other generative methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing model inference processes.
  • Familiarity with computer vision methodologies beyond traditional machine learning approaches.
