Sustainability Client Consultant

Reporting to: VP of Client Success and Partnerships

Location: New York City, NY (hybrid)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Sustainability Client Consultant with a strong background in ESG to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will serve as a key resource for our clients, managing their projects and guiding them through their ESG initiatives from initial onboarding to achieving their sustainability goals. You will engage directly with clients' executive teams and heads of ESG/sustainability, ensuring a seamless experience. Collaborating closely with essential internal partners, including our Implementation Manager and Customer Success Manager, you will provide the necessary support and assurance to help clients succeed in their ESG endeavors. Your adeptness at managing diverse stakeholders and your project management expertise will be vital for the effective implementation and adoption of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Serve as a knowledgeable intermediary between clients and internal teams, including client success, implementation, and training, effectively managing expectations and communication across various stakeholders.

- **Project Oversight:** Manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within defined parameters.

- **Collaborative Efforts:** Partner closely with the Implementation Manager and Client Success Manager to synchronize efforts, share insights, and align strategies to fulfill client requirements, including conducting stakeholder workshops.

- **Client Assistance:** Provide continuous support and training to clients alongside the Implementation and Training and Client Success teams, assisting them in navigating their ESG journey relative to our offerings and maximizing its value.

- **Feedback Mechanism:** Collect and communicate client feedback to internal teams for ongoing product enhancement and innovation.

- **Relationship Development:** Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their distinct needs and challenges to offer customized solutions.

- **Performance Tracking:** In collaboration with leadership and the customer success manager, monitor and report on client progress and success metrics, identifying opportunities for further engagement and growth.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in advisory or consulting roles within the sustainability professional services sectors, preferably with Big 4 experience. Familiarity with SaaS is a significant advantage.

- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and stakeholders.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

- A problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to addressing client needs and challenges.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of Datamaran's NYC Hub and willing to work in a hybrid capacity.
