Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As an EMT, you will provide critical care and support to patients in emergency situations, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care and support to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assess patient conditions and develop plans of action to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Use medical equipment and supplies to provide care and treatment to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Drivers License.
  • Emergency Medical Tech certification from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
