Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with project management and supervisory teams to mitigate hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee behaviors.
  • Conducts routine safety inspections across construction sites to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Timely completion of inspection reports, documenting any identified issues and ensuring follow-up for corrective measures.
  • Facilitates safety training sessions for staff and craft personnel to enhance safety awareness in line with both company and client safety initiatives.
  • Investigates accidents, incidents, and near misses on-site, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed promptly.
  • Engages in special projects and fulfills additional duties as assigned to support the organization effectively.
Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience or education focused on Safety, including at least one year of on-site construction Environmental Health and Safety responsibilities.
  • Fundamental knowledge in Loss Control and Claims Management gained through practical experience.
  • Basic understanding of construction safety regulations and pertinent OSHA standards, including OSHA Parts 1910 and 1926, as well as NEC, NFPA, and ANSI standards.
  • Awareness of state Workers Compensation laws and reporting obligations.
  • Proficient PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
