Job Overview

The Project Manager position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, including up to one (1) year in preconstruction and at least three (3) years in a supervisory role. Experience in industrial, commercial, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects is highly desirable.

Essential SkillsProcess Management
  • Expertise in implementing the FCC construction process to fulfill project requirements.
  • Facilitates various meetings such as monthly project reviews, progress discussions, subcontractor coordination, and Owner-Architect meetings, ensuring clear communication of the project plan.
  • Focuses on delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive project success.
Risk Management
  • Oversees project risks including subcontractor performance, financial aspects, bonding, and resource allocation.
  • Provides thorough documentation for decisions affecting budget, schedule, legal matters, quality, and safety.
  • Utilizes experience and knowledge to identify issues and propose solutions for team consideration.
Financial Management
  • Leads procurement strategies in alignment with project timelines, validating pricing and scope, identifying successful bidders, and managing subcontract and purchase order issuance.
  • Involved in developing the project budget, regularly reviewing costs against the budget and addressing discrepancies to enhance financial performance.
  • Offers expertise and analysis for prime contract and subcontract change orders.
