Position Overview:
The Griffin Groupe is in search of a Senior Engineering Project Manager with a focus on electrical engineering to deliver leadership and technical proficiency within our Facilities and Construction Engineering Practice. The selected candidate will shape the strategic direction of the electrical division, oversee and motivate the electrical team, guarantee the provision of outstanding project quality and services to clients, and spearhead the growth and advancement of the Electrical Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee design/bid/build and design/build projects, including the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical systems.
  • Manage scheduling and budget tracking across multiple disciplines and client contacts.
  • Utilize SKM Power Tools for breaker/relay settings, arc fault studies, load flow analysis, and fault analysis.
  • Prepare proposals for electrical designs.
  • Lead and mentor team members.
  • Provide technical support and design guidance to project managers and market leads.
  • Conduct site surveys and offer construction support as needed.
  • Coordinate with contractors for construction management and review shop drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes.

Qualifications:
  • Years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a consulting engineer.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred (or in progress or willing to obtain with support).
  • Experience with industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical distribution.
  • Knowledge of electrical generation design and utility interconnection processes.
  • Familiarity with SKM power systems software is a plus.
