Position Overview:
The Griffin Groupe is in search of a Senior Engineering Project Manager with a focus on ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING to provide direction and technical guidance within our Facilities and Construction Engineering Practice. The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing the strategic vision for the electrical division, overseeing and motivating the electrical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and services, and fostering the growth of the Electrical Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage design/bid/build and design/build projects, including the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical systems.
  • Oversee scheduling and budget tracking across multiple disciplines and client contacts.
  • Utilize SKM Power Tools for breaker/relay settings, arc fault studies, load flow analysis, and fault analysis.
  • Prepare proposals for electrical design projects.
  • Lead and mentor team members.
  • Provide technical support and design direction to project managers and market leads.
  • Conduct site surveys and offer construction support as required.
  • Coordinate with contractors for construction management, shop drawing reviews, and punch lists.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes.

Qualifications:
  • Years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a consulting engineer.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred (or in progress or willing to obtain with support).
  • Experience with industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution.
  • Knowledge of electrical generation design and utility interconnection processes.
  • Familiarity with SKM power systems software is desirable.
