Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to maintain our outdoor spaces at Meadow Springs Villas.

Job Summary:

The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, including litter removal, pruning, and landscaping. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain outdoor spaces in a safe and attractive condition.
  • Remove litter, debris, and pet droppings from the grounds.
  • Perform 'trash-out' duties at vacated apartments.
  • Notify manager of diseased or dead landscape plantings.
  • Transfer trash and other items left outside of dumpsters into dumpsters.
  • Detail property on a regular basis using blowers and sweepers.
  • Check and replace exterior lighting as needed.
  • Clean and maintain pool and/or spa as directed.
  • Repair and replace windows, screens, and sliding glass doors.
  • Shovel snow, plow, and salt as needed.
  • Clean laundry room areas if housekeeping is unavailable.
  • Maintain awareness of proper safety precautions.
  • Pressure wash sidewalks, driveways, and stairwells as needed.
  • Distribute resident communications.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of building maintenance.
  • Able to work independently and have a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication abilities.
  • No formal training required, just a willingness to work/learn.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
