Job Overview: ACS Professional Staffing seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager for a challenging opportunity in Richland, WA. This full-time position involves overseeing projects and programs, independently managing planning, scheduling, and control activities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive work experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry, focusing on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction. They will also have nuclear plant operator production coordination experience and work management experience in conducting and coordinating plant production work.

The estimated salary for this position is $72,350 - $127,150 per year.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Manage and coordinate project activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Ensure all work is implemented safely and meets quality standards.
• Develop and track budgets for assigned projects, monitoring cost versus budget throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare work packages, including parts procurement and ALARA planning, ensuring resource identification and allocation.
• Develop project schedules based on complexity and size, managing risk and enforcing accountability.
• Identify and assess project risks, developing strategies for mitigation and resolution of schedule delays and conflicts.
• Interface regularly with clients, engineers, and related parties to ensure project focus and progress, and prepare written and oral communications for various groups, including senior management.
• Develop and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers.
• Develop and maintain long-range plan strategies for assigned projects.
• Support the effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program, providing outage support, including operational control center (OCC) activities.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university and 20 years of experience in a technical field;
• OR an AA/AS degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university and 22 years of experience in a technical field;
• OR a High School Diploma or GED and 24 years of experience in a technical field;
• RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification;
• Project Management certification;
• Commercial Nuclear Experience;
• Construction Management Certification;
• Extensive work experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry, focusing on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction;
• Nuclear plant operator production coordination experience and work management experience in conducting and coordinating plant production work;
• Successful completion of an Expert Panel Interview (oral board);
• Knowledge of error reduction and human performance improvement methods, as well as cost-effective work execution methodologies;
• Experience managing complex projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage-related activities;
• Advanced project management techniques applicable to Commercial Nuclear Power Plants or similar facilities;
• Management experience;
• Diverse assignment experience;
• Participation as a member of an industry committee or involvement in external audits or assessments;
• Proficiency in project management and budget process software;
• Ability to evaluate organizational, personal, technical, and effective maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, and performance;
• Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements related to operations, construction, maintenance, engineering, and project activities;
• Familiarity with procedures and processes associated with operations, construction, maintenance, engineering, and project activities;
• Proficiency in software programs such as Passport and MS Office;
• Understanding of diverse assignment experience criteria, which involves acquiring significantly new job skills or knowledge for career progression;
• Minimum one-year job duration recommended for diverse assignments to ensure performance feedback and skill attainment;
