Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Advisor III to join our Comerica Advisor Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for serving as a relationship manager for a book of business, providing insight to specific trust documents, overseeing overall estate planning, and working directly with our Financial Advisor partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trust accounts in accordance with governing documents, applicable law, and client needs.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret trust documents for direction, ensuring completeness and accuracy of account transactions.
  • Work with managers to develop solutions to issues brought forth by clients, such as requests for special distributions, fee issues, or disputes.
  • Oversee the opening and closing of accounts, ensuring receipt of proper documentation, transfer of assets, and accurate tax reporting.
  • Provide comprehensive wealth planning advice to clients, participating in projects that improve efficiency of service delivery.
  • Communicate directly with Financial Advisor partners, clients, and internal business partners, providing timely updates on account activity and responding to requests.
  • Develop new business through partnerships with Advisor Solutions Trust Specialists and centers of influence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • 6 years of experience serving as an account administrator in trust administration, investments, or insurance.
  • 6 years of business development experience in trust administration, investments, or insurance.

Salary Range:

For candidates hired in the state of California, Colorado, Washington, or New York, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently:

California - $91,250 - $183,750 Annually
